The title of this storybook is The Lovers of Zeus. I chose this storybook because I have always heavily enjoyed Greek mythology, and am currently taking my second course in mythology (this one!). The title does seem to accurately describe what the storybook is about. The introduction puts an interesting and modern twist on Zeus's romantic deviance, describing it in a modern world scenario, but does well to highlight the sexual drama in Zeus's life, even if the stories feel somewhat inaccurate due to the modernization. While the visuals used in the storybook are nice, some of them seem a bit out of place (such as the popular "Rosie the Riveter" image) and there is a lot of white space that is somewhat displeasing to the eye.

The title of this storybook is Weather Gods. I chose this book because I also enjoy the Norse mythology, and wish to learn more about the Hindu gods, which this storybook talks of. The title is very accurate. It is titled Weather Gods, and does indeed talk about the gods of weather from four different pantheons: Tawhirimatea, Maori god of weather, Indra, Hindu god of storms and war, Tlaloc, Aztec supreme god of the rains, and Thor, Norse god of Thunder. The page navigation was efficient and clean, and is something I could see myself using, however I did not enjoy the overall design of the pages as much as the entries about the gods themselves. The text was difficult to read and the color usage of pink for some of the text was a little strenuous on my eyes.

https://sites.google.com/site/fairytaleleadingladies/home, Siren, City in the Clouds

The title of this storybook is Siren, City in the Clouds. I chose this storybook because at first glance it was different than most of the others I looked at. The background was black (much easier to look at), and the text was green, which has been shown to be the easiest color to look at with the human eye. So you could say that is why it caught mine. The introduction does well to sneakily introduce the four characters involved in the story, elaborating on each of these four later on in other entries. Unfortunately, the page navigation for this storybook turned out to be a little confusing. It wasn't until I played around a bit that I found my way around. After this, all was fine. As far as visuals go, the text eventually became very small, and difficult to read. The appealing color scheme was nice, but the text should perhaps have been a bit bigger.
